They hired, for their son, an anti-Trump social media activist lawyer KAF, and a PR agent Joan who allows fangirls to put handwritten heart notes in his court outfit bag.

They’re staying out of the picture per KAF and letting KAF run the narrative, online, fundraiser, his website, letter logs

KAF was doing full speeches and postings online - of only what she said- after the court meetings. Now both sides have been told to stop that.

I’d say the family has been forever altered and now they only care about minimizing their son’s sentencing. No matter what it takes. Or until their money runs out.

Why? Are you a CEO or wealthy executive type that has drawn public scorn? And if you were, it would make a lot more sense to hire bodyguards rather than carry a gun yourself. Thompson was shot in the back. He had no idea that idiot was even behind him. A protective detail would’ve prevented that.

Another poster put it perfectly: I oppose him getting the death penalty simply because he wouldn’t get the death penalty for killing me or my husband. So it’s not fair that he should get it for killing some wealthy CEO. That’s basically telling me that my life just isn’t as valuable as some business tycoon, since killing me wouldn’t be worthy of getting executed. F’ that.
