No one is moving out of Dominion Hills, Boulevard Manor, etc., in droves and transferring to ATS. Ashlawn is a sought after Elementary School zone. And the neighborhoods, with two private pool clubs, are highly sought after.

ATS happens to be within walking distance (both the former and current school locations) so that may explain some transfers


dominion hills is a weird area, right next to the poverty and small houses that no one renovates, i guess its the cheapest north arlington neighborhood but it looks horrid and its location kind of sucks

I think you may be confusing Dominion Hills with a different neighborhood. The vast majority of the colonials are renovated or expanded. Ashlawn and Cardinal are fantastic elementary schools. I consider it a great location within Arlington and not “right next to the poverty.”
