My mother never did anything gross. She was always proper. My father chewed with his mouth open.
We are way grosser today than in recent generations. There were so many rules that governed behavior and most things were taboo. |
OMG yeah, farting and burping is definitely child abuse
|
I don't think you know what that word means and I'm positive you fart too. And THAT's being a hypocrite. |
Wow! You should write a memoir. This is traumatizing stuff. |
Well, the not showering every day was part of an overall lack of attention to being clean. Let's say someone uses the bathroom ... sh!ts ... does not wash their hands ... and then prepares a bunch of food with their hands. Do you want to head over to their house and eat it? No, I bet you do not. Still think it's "cute" that I think that I "know better than a pathologist"? |
you use the plastic handle and put it between your teeth. He says it gets the stuff his dental floss doesn't. I suspect he's got some unmedicated OCD. I'm not a germaphobe. But the sound it makes is awful. |
Yeah, but nobody followed them. |
| I grew up pretty WT. We actually lived in a 50ft trailer home on the outskirts of a small town. My stepdad was often drinking or drunk. On those nights, he and my mom were either fighting or f**king. On the nights they weren’t fighting the whole trailer home would rock and creak and you could hear skin slapping sometimes, etc. I’ve never told anyone about this. Lol. |
I think that PP absolutely does know what "hypocrite" means, and I think that you are one. DP |

I really shouldn't have read this thread. I'm going to have nightmares.
I'm REALLY grateful for my very proper, not gross parents, my god. How do people not shower for YEARS??? |
How so "DP"? I'm dying to know. |
And I bet you would continue to be "dying to know," no matter how many times someone were to spell it out for you. |
I like to feel fresh. I shower am and pm. Who wants to ride Metro, do housework and get into bed without showering? |
Well, why don't you try once? Let's see how it goes. |
My father was always scratching back or cleaning nose, little did we know that he had severe dryness issues as there were no obvious signs until he was diagnosed with an autoimmune syndrome. |
