Arlington 2015 academy

How does recruiting work for kids who are 9 years old? Are coaches like going to other games and scouting kids? Pulling them aside at tournaments? Pretty funny that someone feels the need to go to these lengths at such a young age.

Had a coach approach the parent of a 9 year old on our team at a tournament recently to ask if he would consider playing for their team. She laughed in his face. But yeah it happens.

For 2015 boys team they had a coach move from SYC, bring in a bunch of kids then bail after the rosters were set and go back to SYC. That is why there are so many kids from other teams on that roster.

Aka he recruited them (and some of his False8 kids) to come with him to Arlington - before he bailed.

Saw at least one of them from Arlington at a recent SYC practice so I’m sure
