The Balos owners just opened up a new place called Bar Angie that looks like a different vibe, but if you're really looking for new to the dining scene and trendy that's an option.

Shoto is the very definition of trendy. The place was packed with rich young millennials when we went. They even had a freaking DJ playing in the restaurant.

The food there is terrible. Full of MSG and the tasting menu is a joke. OP needs to define the want...is it the cuisine or the scene?
