love this place |

How old are these people? And how nice of a restaurant?
Favorites (nicer, $$$): Albi; Rose’s Luxury; Amazonia; Dogon Chiller ($$): any of the Love Makoto restaurants (sushi is obviously great but also the bbq is fun, as is the whisky bar); Copy Cat |
If OP wants trendy, Inn at Little Washington or Patty O’s isn’t it. Nor Fiola. Yellow is fun/newer, but is fast casual. |
| Moon Rabbit. |
| Also agree with Love Makoto |

I love Del Mar, and Albi.
I’m reading these replies with interest for myself. Can someone please explain Love, Makoto to me? Are these all separate restaurants within one space? Or are you able to order off of any menu when dining there? |
| Osteria Mozza is a happening place and beautiful space, but I thought the food was just middling. But definitely trendy. |
|
None of these is trendy!!
For trendy I recommend Balos. It’s an absolute scene. |
|
I wouldn't say it's trendy, but I find people generally fun at China Chilcano because the menu is varied.
Albi just won a bunch of James Beard awards and is hard to get into as a result. I haven't been yet but a friend loved it. Rose's Luxury isn't as trendy as it used to be but they don't make you wait in line anymore. |
|
Moon Rabbit is a great suggestion, but I'd say it's more innovative and delicious than trendy.
For trendy, try Shoto. (Not my scene, but if you're looking for splash, it's it.) |
| Oh! Or Causa/Amazonia - beautiful setting in Blagden Alley, really great food. |
