I need to know some of the most trendy, fun, happening restaurants in DC right now.
We have visitors coming and we have to wow them for a number of reasons. We are boring and rarely go out. Help! |
| Check out eater dc |
| I’ve always wondered whether Eater was accurate. Has anyone followed what they suggest? |
| Trendy and happening in DC can mean great decor but mediocre food. I suggest go for our stars like Joe's. https://www.joes.net/washington-dc. or Inn of Little Washington / Patti O's. There's also Yellow in Georgetown, Fiola or their Spanish one at the wharf. |

What city are they coming from, OP? That will make a difference.
We recently loved Lutece, but I wouldn’t take someone from NYC there. Seems similar to a lot of places. |
| Anju or Onggi for Korean |
| Is there a type of cuisine you’re looking for? |
I love Joe’s but it’s not a place you take to wow people. |
| L’ardente |
| Love Makoto |
| +1 Love Makoto |
Only the Omakase. I tried their sushi a couple of times and they are on par with Rakuya. |
| It all depending on your guests. What kind of places they go out to eat at home? |
| I’m sorry! Trendy restaurants are the worst. |
