We like it when we don't want to commit to a hour show, and want some laughs. It's decent. |
Thanks everyone for recommending this show I am loving it and agree. The characters are amazing and I love the fashions. Great show and I never would have found it without this recommendation. Wish they would promote this show more. |
Hogwash. There's nothing that racy. |
Yay! I’m the OP and so glad this is making people check out the show. It deserves the widest exposure possible. |
I don't know about you, but I don't think most of the music is mainstream pop: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0h4yTvrHJkF4gXZwqpkUGK |
(And also, does it offend you to think that Inuk people might also listen to mainstream pop? Do they need to cater to your desire for traditional music?) |
Offspring fans: Keep an eye out for Frasier as a cool granddad. |
Siaja sounds like Julia Stiles and some times facial expressions remind me of her too- character reminds me of the 10 things I hate about you character Julia played too! |
Don't be dumb. Of course, they listen to mainstream pop. My point is that we have heard mainstream pop ourselves. We can access that anytime we want. We haven't heard traditional music, however, and I would love to be exposed to more of that instead of dubbing mainstream songs over with the native language. Why not play original songs if they want us to know about the culture? |
Wow. |
Yes! Lucious and velvety voices. |
I hate to break it to you, but it’s not all about you. Maybe they wanted a fun mixup of cultures, similar to Siaja herself. I’m sure you can find traditional music if that’s what interests you. |
+1 |
I watched episode 1 but I'm not hooked. Does it get better/more engaging? Or is episode 1 what you get? |
Definitely give it a couple episodes. |
