+2 People are so lazy and don’t even pretend otherwise. There’s no accountability. I hate it here. |
+1. When I first had my kid, my insurance company dropped her from our insurance at least 3 times (after making it nearly impossible to get her added in the first place— aren’t babies born every hour or day? why was it so difficult?). And there are so many doc appointments in early months. I’d get to the doctor, find out the insurance was “cancelled” again, have to pay out of pocket (usually hundreds of dollars, given the early vaccines), go home to call the insurance company, then have call doctor back, then fight with both to get a refund. Both blamed the other. I think I had to call the insurance company or her pediatrician every week for the first six months of her life. It took nearly a use to get paid back. And this was a “good” federal govt health insurance company and a major pediatrician so it especially made no sense. It was frankly enraging. |
