CR has a drug war going on. |
No news outlet has said that. Maybe you read someone assume that on Twitter, but there has been NO formal statement that says that. Prove me wrong. |
I hope the family finds the reason for what happened. That poor family and poor Miller. |
What is scombroid fish poisoning? Scombroid fish poisoning, or histamine fish poisoning, is a syndrome resembling an allergic reaction that occurs after eating fish contaminated with high levels of histamine. What are the symptoms? Symptoms begin within 2 minutes to several hours after eating the fish. The most common symptoms are tingling and burning sensations around the mouth, facial flushing, sweating, nausea, vomiting, headache, palpitations, dizziness, and rash. Sometimes people report that the fish has a peppery or metallic taste. How long does it last? Most people have mild symptoms that resolve within a few hours. In some cases, symptoms may last for several days. Treatment is generally not needed; however, for severe cases, or in people with underlying medical conditions, antihistamines may be beneficial. https://www.health.state.mn.us/diseases/scombroid/index.html |
How did you even know what was happening? |
+1 no news outlet has indicated even a suspicion of this. |
My daughter once too. She turned bright red and heart racing. Went to ER where they gave her ?? And watched her for a few hours. Never ate blue fish again. |
Sudden onset of red rashes on my hands, breathing started feeling labored. |
The boy died in his sleep so it likely wasn’t this. |
I’m going to speculate that it was some kind of food poisoning because other members were sick. Whatever meds he was treated with somehow stopped his heart overnight. Or it’s possible he had some underlying heart condition no one knew about.
QT prolongation, especially when leading to the life-threatening arrhythmia torsades de pointes (TdP), can be fatal and cause sudden cardiac death. Maybe it was brought on by the illness itself or whatever meds he was given. |
