Uh, maybe her very costly obsession with taking away driving lanes and parking all around the District and adding bike lanes and millions of flexi posts? All of it was completely unnecessary and it did not result in fewer pedestrian deaths. It resulted in many times more. |
recent statistics defy your assertion |
Federal FY 2024 budget, so hence the DC FY24 budget, not the DC FY25 budget. |
What does this have to do with the CR? |
| Enjoy Bowser's RTO plans and cozying up to Trump, DC! FAFO |

This is really sad and nonsensical. I wish the Republicans could just govern without priorities like contempt and malice. Just plain avarice would suffice.
It makes no sense to treat DC like a federal agency and stop it from using the funds raised by its own local revenues. This is NOT the federal government's money. |
Well, in MAGAland DC is viewed as a hellscape where wokeness got so out of control that criminals get away with their crimes while regular citizens are either racist or themselves arrested for trying to stop criminals. |
...and so destroying the budget halfway through the year does what about that, exactly? I don't agree with what other cities and states do but I don't want them financially or otherwise destroyed. How would that help anything? |
You are quite possibly the dumbest person in the world. |
So if it passes Friday and there need to be layoffs they have to happen like Monday? |
| I hope bowser prioritizes laying off every MPD DCFD and municipal employee that lives in WV, PA, RoVA, and western MD. There’s a lot of them. They can grovel for jobs in their red areas. |
They aren't as dumb as the person that thinks those things made anything better. |

It would be a shame if the DC poison pill passes.
Probably won’t get approved permits to start construction on that NFL stadium any time soon. Maybe St Alban’s and other private schools have technical fire and building code issues that need to be immediately addressed. DOB might require the schools to be shut until construction can address the problems. Maybe we need to do road work in front of Scott Bessent’s Georgetown house or Bezos’s Kalorama for the next 6 months. I heard the gas lines and pipes under the roadway are ancient. Lots of stuff can happen. |

We will need to cut $600 million in capital expenditures through 2029. Surely there are some in there that we don't really need. Let Congress be the bad guy and we can clean up our own house. We all know that there is a lot of fat in the DC budget. There's also federal things that we spend money on which should stop.
That way, when the full takeover happens we'll be better prepared financially and morally for the effort still to come. |
You are the second dumbest. If indeed you are a different person. |
