Pester? Why does any partner needs to "pester" another for sex?

All sex does not need to be PIV sex. There are many, many intimate and loving ways to satisfy your SO's sexual needs. Have you guys not ever been apart? Pregnant? Post partum? Tired? Sick? Had a yeast infection?
