AAP decisions coming a full week before spring break

Once you are in, you are in. DS was accepted in 3rd grade and we deferred until 7th grade. Easy to get him into the AAP classes at his MS.


Can you elaborate why you would defer and what would be easier. Please.

DP but I know a few people who defer because they want to stay at the base school. Our base is Spanish immersion and until recently we didn't have local
level IV so many people deferred to stick with Spanish. One downside is they get to middle school and may have trouble socially because they will be in classes with kids who all know each other from the center.
