Remote so you'd never see him or anyone else. I have many reservations: the obvious ethical ones, job security, plus some of the schedule and timing is not ideal. But it is more than I have ever earned in my life, by a lot. I don't "need" the money because I am a frugal person generally without big needs, but I'm also in my current position because I always make the selfless, lower pay, responsible and good work/life balance choices...So am I just avoiding risk at the detriment of myself?

No, even though I am a research biologist and find the Neurolink work fascinating. I would love to work in that program, but I suspect that all Musk companies, even the ones he doesn't direct personally, are poorly run with terrible ethical practices. Which, when it comes to patient consent for brain implants, is MISSION CRITICAL.

No. The takeover at Twitter sounded brutal. He likes people to commit to 24/7 and sleep at the office. I get that that appeals to some people but I don't think any job is worth that much commitment unless it's your own company.
