Wedding guest attire help please

—but with a lighter and wider trouser and closed-toe, closed-heel shoe with a lower heel, not the strappy sandals in the photo. I would wear something simple but polished in a pastel color under the jacket. That way if everyone else is much more casual, I could remove the jacket at brunch, but if people are more dressed up, I would still fit right in.
I would keep my chest, knees, and shoulders covered, and wear a low-heeled closed-toe/closed-heel shoe. Tidy hair. Clean girl makeup.

Sigh, this is hideous. It's like one of Hillary Clinton's worst choices.

The first one is nice and appropriate. Guys it’s a morning wedding for 70 year olds! What are some of these.

Charlottesville is a bit more southern than DC in vibe. I would dress up more and definitely go with a dress if you are under 60. I would go for long sleeves if you can. I will try to find one other decent option bit would really help to know how old you are OP and where the brunch is going to be.

You didn’t say how old you are but, I agree with anyone who said a dress and a church-like outfit.

Something like this is nice:

Me too! What’s wrong with pants, PPs?

This dress does not “read” daytime church to me (it is pretty, though).

The safe option is a midi length, solid color or subtle print. Are wrap dresses, shirt dresses, or body con dresses most flattering on you?

I agree to wear a dress or skirt, and that finding a dress is easier than finding a skirt combo.

I like this dress, and I could wear this to work, too, in the navy (although I love it in the lighter blue).

This is too plain, unless you have a cool necklace or wrap and boots.
