I do hit in body hugging shorts and sports bra typically. I do HIIT at home and no clothing is built for real HIIT because it is supposed to put you to near failure and sweating by 2nd interval should be a lot. By 5 or 6 intervals you are disgustingly sweaty and clean up and good mat that can be cleaned is most important.

Not PP. If burpees are part of your workout, do not wear shorts. Your knees will thank you.
why would your knees matter in a burpee. They never touch the mat.

What kind of burpees do you do? We do chest to floor burpees at my gym.

DP - Burpees with a real push up. Your knees don't touch the floor.

Interesting, at my fitness classes everyone does what this article says is a "down up" when it's time for burpees. Didn't know about the knees on the floor type.

I am the one that does burpees chest to the floor, which includes the whole body on the floor including my knees. I need thick leggings for this days. We do these types of burpees at a CrossFit gym.

Are you over 45?

Anonymous wrote:My favorite tops are Lucy, but honestly the Amazon Essentials are fine. You mostly need a good bra.

Are you sure you mean Lucy? They were bought by North Face in 2017. I miss that store.

Yes, 51. My whole class does burpees that way no matter our age.

Agree, REI is great. Love the Beyond Yoga brand. DH loves Vuori. I like Vuori, too, but Beyond Yoga's pants aremore comfortable for me personally

Old Navy! If you find a cut you like, they'll hold up for years! I have both leggings and tops that have lasted for 10 years.

I just bought lily lemon for the first time in my life. I am in my 40s.

I work out at Orangetheory five days a week and I'm a very sweaty person. I always wear these cheap Amazon shirts and old navy leggings.

I'm a big fan of Girlfriend Collective. I've had leggings from them that I've used heavily since 2018 and they're still holding up beautifully.
