The Catholics?? They are at least as guilty as Trump of doing all sorts of horrible things. Remember the "Indian schools"?

The Catholic Church has a long and rightfully proud history of supporting immigrants and providing for those in need. Now, whether the current Catholic Bishops have the guts to call out Trump and Catholics in his Admininistration is a different story.

Yeah -- The Catholics, like all religions, have a history of doing both good and bad things. Like people in general.

It is the doctrine of the Episcopal Church and she is not “just one lady,” she is a Bishop and the spiritual leader of the Episcopal Diocese of Washington, D.C.

The Pope has spoken at length against the abuses of the poor, including specifically immigrants. Too many American Catholics only listen to what they want to hear and deny Papal authority when it doesn’t suit them. Sadly, many priests will not protect immigrants.

What? Why are you spewing such terrible nonsense?

Fantastic rebuttal!

Why does God create intersex people?

You seem to consider LGBTQ people sinful. Are you without sin? What have you done about the log in your eye?

Intersex is not a third sex.

What sex are they? Trump says there are only two, so you’d better get it right. Check his definitional language closely.

This should be in political discussion forum not religion forum.

Unfortunately, with Trump politics and religion overlap a lot. They always have, actually, but here in the USA, we supposedly have separation of church and state. That was a very big deal with the founders.

Have the Bishops threatened to withhold communion from any MAGA Catholic that favor aggressive actions against immigrants, or that favor the death penalty? Please let me know if I have missed something.

- Analytical geometry: René Descartes is considered the father of analytical geometry
- Earth's measurement: Jean Picard accurately measured the Earth
- Northern lights: Father Pierre Gassendi named the northern lights
- Heliocentrism: Nicolaus Copernicus pioneered heliocentrism
- Theory of evolution: Jean-Baptiste Lamarck prefigured the theory of evolution with Lamarckism
- Earthquakes: The Jesuits made significant contributions to the study of earthquakes
- Barometer: Evangelista Torricelli invented the barometer and was the first to create a sustained vacuum
- Wireless telegraph: Guglielmo Marconi developed the first successful long-distance wireless telegraph
- Clock: Sylvester II invented the clock

When criminals bust into your home at night looking for your daughters, do you respectfully show them the way?

Surely there's a little space in your home for one or two of them, yes?

DP

This response makes no sense.

The Episcopal bishop spoke in mild Manner begging for mercy for those who are afraid for very good reasons. The Episcopal church communion welcomes anyone who feels drawn.

The over reaction to their mainstream sermon is bizarre.
