Agreed it was well written. I think it showed a lot of restraint. A character like Benji could have easily been written (and performed) too over the top, and more shticky

So the take-away. Benji bi-polar? Self medicating with pot? the other guy at risk for the same, but it's better controlled with his prescription drugs? He's more dull, has lost some passion. Doesn't have the same strong, sometimes insightful observations of BenjI?

Thought it was fine. I couldn't buy that the other tour people weren't completely annoyed by Kiernan Culkin character.

Same! It was fine, funny and sweet movie … though definitely not a best picture

I think it was less about specific diagnoses and more about them each representing/having things the other doesn’t. Jesse’s character is more OCD/anxiety though (like the real Jesse Eisenberg).
