Then don’t speed.

I don't but the traffic signs in Arlington are confusing and there are far too many of them now. It is hard to navigate at times.

When in doubt, don't drive so fast. This isn't that hard to figure out.

It is when there a multiple signs every few feet that are contradictory. It's a messy system and intentionally confusing.

I typically hate speed cameras but Arlington’s are well signed. The bright neon color and placement right before the camera should help drivers to slow down and avoid the fine.

I disagree that it's well-signed. There are more signs that are very close together. Multiple speeds on short stretches of road. New bike lanes with pylon barriers. Flashing lights for pedestrians. It's a sh*t show.

No interest in funding Arlington's social agenda if they can't even do this,

"social agenda"?

Again, so don't drive so fast if you aren't sure.

Or don't. Get tickets to pay for the "social agenda". That works for me.

Art trucks, public art, trees in little cages, shooting deer... that's an agenda. Theirs.
People in their 70s and 80s trapped at home because cars cant drive on ice and can't safely walk... that's one too. Elder disregard.

This. Don’t speed and you never have to worry about it. Speed cameras generate revenues from speeders to help reduce the amount of property tax increases on residents. I’d like to see 10x more cameras.

Again, so don't drive so fast if you aren't sure.

Good that's how they should be raising revenue.

GMAFB. We live in an area with extremely sporadic snow. If we funded enough trucks to fully and expediently cover every big snow fall then the "elders" would be complaining about taxes and how much we spend on snow removal for no snow.

Fine but then stop raising our taxes.

It's probably just a small increase of 5% to 8% between the tax rate change and the increase in assessed value. For most Arlingtonians that's only $1,000 to $2,000 more per year and it pays for increased and better government services.

Arlingtonians want those additional benefits. We haven't rejected a bond measure that's been put to a public vote since 1979.

Sounds like a you problem

I would rather Arlington Co hire more police officers rather than install more traffic cameras. What's the data on whether it increases safety or just increases $$$ for county?

Seems like they were trying to avoid the a-holes.

Next time report it sooner. Likely some contractor was assigned your street and reported it done when it never was.
