She made the awful comment when Obama was elected that it was the first time in her adult life that she was proud of her country, and now she refuses to attend a funeral of a former President, who happens to be White.

It was not an awful comment. It was a sentiment shared by many. Maybe not you, but then again you’ve never walked in her shoes. Everything isn’t seen through your bifocals. People have different walks in life and who the hell are you to say that her travels did not share her perspective.
