Also a HS teacher about half out in all of my classes. |
Funny because you like to act like everyone needs to go with the flow but you and those liked you seemed to tantrum over the calls all week. Sounds like you couldn't deal with that beat. |
Pendelum swings both ways. Today was fine. And if it wasn't for you, there's always Monday. |
This. Spot on. As long as the "beat" meets your needs everyone should be going with that beat, but once it doesn't... |
We get it you don't want to be around your kids. |
It does so stop crying when it doesn't go your way. |
You need a new talking point. |
As do you. |
So today is your turn to have a temper tantrum? |
I am the poster who wrote the "beat goes on" message. You must be confused because I haven't had a single tantrum this week about anything. Juggling show, work, kids at home or not, etc. - it's all part of life and not worth the stress you seem to embody. The flow, as you called it, during the week is that schools are open unless there is a critical need to close them. Your inability to handle getting out of your neighborhood seems like a personal problem and not an issue for the rest of us. |

I had a heavy morning schedule, afternoon less than 24 hours notice is tough for many professions. You got your way and your kids out of the house, why post? Did your massage and Pilates get cancelled today or something? |
So you admit you have been tantruming all week |
The same notice we got the first four days this week? Nobody GAF if your Zoom calls got disrupted as you parented your kid to school this morning. |
There would not be a 200+ page locked post had this not been an issue to "the rest of us" ![]() |
