Surprised how arl 2012 are 3rd bracket.

That ARL team has been underperforming, but agree that they should be in the 2nd bracket. Not sure why Jeff Cup would have moved FVU up to 2nd bracket, and ARL down to 3rd. The two teams are essentially even in the ECNL standings and ARL had a better performance at WAGS.

In the standings FVU is 2nd and Arlington is 5th, so I guess Jeff Cup appropriately placed a 5th place team

That seems far away from a tie?

Union and Arlington are 7-2 and 7-2-1. Top 5 in the 2012 ECNL standings are all within 1 game. Depends on the team parent who decides to complain or boast about placement.

Top 5 in a very weak group to be fair. The competition is terrible.

Comfirmed....Only 1 team stands out.

2011 - 4th

Maybe Bethesda is the only DMV club that has more 1st division seeded teams.

They’re fine.

What about 2010-2007? Those are the only ages that bracket placement actually matters.

Just responding to the idea that 2012 was the only top seeded SYC team or that 2014 were being punished for their placement because Jeff cup doesn’t like SYC.

The older teams don’t seem too competitive or placed competitively but those are remnants of the union days?

This is the first year together for those older GA teams and they will continue to improve. With the younger teams doing so well and the club now having a place for them to stay and compete at a higher level than before, they will continue to remain strong instead of having players leave for other clubs.

What? This seems like a misplaced comment…. Folks just talking and you come in like a wrecking ball,”I have something to say everybody!” Let me drop my passive aggressive comment aimed at folks talking. Ugh.

Nope because the brackets constsntly change.

U18/19 Richmond United placed in the 2nd bracket of their own tourney. Ouch

do you still think there will be some changes? There is talk in a NJ board that I sometimes visit that PDA Blue (would be in 1st or 2nd group) is NOT in the tournament, but PDA White (should be in 4th or 5th) is and they are in a much higher bracket than they should be. Kind of like where a mixed Blue and White team should be

southern hospitality at its best. Like I always say, the difference between NJ and the south is if you meet someone at a party in NJ and you think they are a jerk, you will tell them they are a jerk. In the south you will wait for them to walk away and then take behind their backs to tell everyone else you think they are a jerk

What age group? I don’t see any ECNL teams in the 4th/5th age group, but maybe I’m not looking at the same age groups.
