I also carry a smaller bag with my phone, wallet etc - my latest is a YSL puffer

I'm a PP and my work bag is a Neverfull too. Agree it's super practical.

I call mine Bertha! She’s been traveling with our family of 5 the last 12 days and she’s great.

I really see the NF as more of a utility play than a fashion statement.

Don't you people have offices? All the random crap in your purse/work bag can just be left in your desk. Buy a set for your office and only bring phone/wallet/keys/laptop back and forth.

Yes, I carry both - I prefer to just carry one big tote bag into work with all of my smaller items inside (purse, water, laptop, etc.). Neither of my bags are fancy - I have a Land's End tote and just use a small purse. Until recently it was a Lululemon belt bag, and now it's a Uniqlo nylon bag.

Tiny purse with keys, wallet, phone and mascara. And a laptop backpack with all the other stuff.

I figured of it works for them, it should work for me. I started using that - which works well, especially on days I have a long walk to the metro.

Ditto! I am petite so a heavy shoulder bag weighs me down. I have a backpack for my laptop and power cord and a light tote for everything else

This what I do too. Starting when I had a diaper bag and a work bag.

+1000 or any number of other very very simple solutions. Personally I don't bring make up or hair brush or any personal effects to work besides keys, wallet, metro card which all go inside...the backpack/laptop bag. How is this hard?

This is the oldest, stupidest thread I've seen on dcum in a long time...and they say some of you all don't have common sense ..not possible! S/

I’m a PP and no, I don’t have an office or even a dedicated file cabinet or desk. I hotel on the days I go into the office, which is a couple of days/ week. It’s a hassle having to bring everything with me each time. I like to brush my teeth and touch up my makeup mid-day so I have a pouch that I carry with me.

No. I carry a work bag for my laptop and hate carrying a bag

Nope… it’s all “flex space” now or hotelling a desk. Especially for senior/ exec roles. At my firm only the EAs and office support get a dedicated desk/office.

Everyone I know who brings their laptop to and from work every day are actually the most disorganized people I know, have a bottomless bit work purse and they admit they never actually use the zillions of things in said bag on a daily basis (including the laptop) - they just have best intentions. I rarely see men carrying laptops to and from work.

frankly where I work, a lap top left in the office would be stolen. Plus I cannot really afford a personal laptop of this quality.

which I can also throw into my laptop bag.

Same. I have a little crossbody for my keys, phone and wallet (card holder). Sometimes I throw that crossbody into my tote, but I like to have it on me.

Nope, no office since 2019. Just a random desk that I have to book for each day at the office and then clear completely at the end of that day.

I have a small backpack for my laptop/lunch and then I sometimes carry a small bag with wallet, sunglasses, keys, and phone. I don’t reapply makeup etc except maybe for lipstick so I don’t carry any of that around.

I have two work bags, brown and black, tote sized for folders or laptop. I use those on in person workdays.
