Your favorite Salmon Dish

Make any of these recipes that look good to you, but use wild, troll-caught salmon. It's not only ethical, the taste difference is amazing!

The salmon are individually caught on a troll line, immediately bled, and flash frozen.

Shocked nobody has said Mark Bittman’s salmon roasted in butter recipe. So easy, so good, I have converted multiple salmon naysayers with this recipe.

Sushi. But if not sushi, then simply baked in foil with a dash of lime or lemon. I love the taste of salmon, so I don't need extra stuff.

Maybe you're overcooking it?

I love the way salmon cooks in the air fryer. It's my favorite way to make it.
I've used this recipe but normally I just season it.

Same, and this preparation is how I got my then-little kids to like salmon. Ina’s dijon/honey/lemon marinade is equally good.

I also like to poach and serve drizzled with herby green goddess dressing, as a PP said.

I think TJ’s salmon rub seasoning is great and I liberally coat salmon filets in it and drizzle a little honey on top and then bake.

We love the sesame ginger salmon from Damn Delicious. The marinade / sauce are also awesome with chicken, especially thighs.

What do you all make as sides with salmon with the dijon/sugar glaze or miso glaze or sesame ginger glaze?

Salmon is the new chicken breast. So Boring.

Steamed or roasted broccoli (or asparagus) and rice are my standard sides for salmon. It also tastes good on top of cauliflower mash (Trader Joe’s has a good frozen one).

Mix miso, honey, dijon and brush on salmon. Broil or use oven air fry setting.

For side, cook fresh broccoli in a hot pan with a little olive oil for a min. Add salt and pepper, 1/2 c water and cover for 5 min.

Mac and cheese or greens are also good if you do Cajun seasoning

I love a perfectly cooked salmon even plain, but the rest of my family doesnt lol.

My fave way of cooking is a confit/oil poach. Rich, silky, delicious.

My family loves this simple jamie oliver recipe

I should add that I don't add the prawns for the jamie oliver recipe. Just the salmon.

Snapper, trout, varieties of cod. Lots of fish in the sea.
