How was he corrupt when he was nominated?

His vote has been the most predictable vote on the court in my lifetime. I could tell you how he would vote before briefs were filed with 100% accuracy.

I have been following Washington for a long time, and the Supreme Court is probably the one branch of government that does NOT feel corrupt.
The attacks on Thomas and the other justices mentioned on this thread seem partisan and transparent.

This is about the left being salty that SCOTUS is no longer left leaning. The right spent decades talking about the court legislating from the benhc but they never undermined it's legitmacy the way the left is doing. Undermining the legitimacy of legitimate institutions are no better than claiming that Biden stole the election in 2020.

There were questions about him being bought when he was nominated to the Circuit Court and less than two-years later he is elevated to SCOTUS under a barrage of dissent. Anita Hill was not the only woman Thomas sexually harassed, and there were at least ten to twelve other women willing to testify before Congress and Biden made a deal and the women were not allowed to testify. When those women were denied the opportunity to testify how that man sexually harassed them, Anita Hill was hung out to dry on the vine alone. I think it was what Biden did to Hill made him guilty and the reason later in life he wanted to elevate qualified Black women to this country's highest political offices.

The FBI report was never in evidence and other women who had been attacked by kavanaugh were not allowed to testify.

When my husband was a fed, he had a position that gave him a government car to use for the entire term of a particular job. He told them to take it back, he didn’t want it, that all it could do was get him into trouble - because it comes with so many rules, it’s more trouble than it’s worth.

I’m SO sure I’m NOT a racist, I’m perfectly comfortable calling out all bad behavior regardless of the person’s race. He’s an unethical stooge and should not be on the court. And yes, Citizens United ruined our country.
