ECNL STL - another showcase mess

The national platforms for recruiting are necessary but completely useless for players that aren't of recruiting age. Some may argue this but there's plenty of competition locally to build teams leading up to the time to showcase for college.

This is the DMV. 10 year olds go to Florida and Texas for “elite” tournaments.

That’s fine, if they want to go for competition…they aren’t going for recruiting, though.

That’s fine, if they want to go for competition…they aren’t going for recruiting, though.

Not really for competition. It’s more because travel is fun for families. Planes, hotels, beaches, warm weather, friends. What’s not to like?
