MAGA level stupid? I am a liberal scientist who believe ls beyond doubt there is intelligent life elsewhere. Whether it has come to this planet is a different question but when the US Navy has videos of UFOs that defy the laws of physics and states that no one on this planet has this technology one must at least ask what is it?
And as for MAGA level stupid it is this exact thinking that lead to right wing cooks owning the White House and Congress. Talk about liberal stupidity. Take a look in the mirror and wake up. |
Why would you start a new thread? |

Did you watch the show he watched? I thought some parts if it were intriguing. ;Abd I gave a PhD.) The cattle had been drained of blood, and predators would not eat them. In more than one place.
I would never conclude what that is about, but the show kept my interest. You and he are cut from the same cloth if he thinks it MUST be aliens and you think it CAN’T be aliens. Neither of you are approaching the topic with an inquisitive/critical mind. I would only worry if he wanted you to move or “prep” for this reason. |
| I think most of the sightings are military “advances” that are being kept quiet. |

Go to he!! |
I really don't understand the blanket association of interest in aliens with "MAGA." Until VERY recently, almost everyone who believed in aliens would have considered themselves to be on the left politically, and there are still many people on the left (like Chuck Schumer) who believe there is something to this phenomenon. |
I think it's because of QAnon and other conspiracies that became so evident during the Maga era. It's associated with that now, though I know antivax and others go both ways. But a lot of people think of Maga when it's something that's supposed to be secret or a coverup/conspiracy now. |
Ok but it has been during the last four years (Biden) that the government has been openly admitting they are tracking UAPs and have an actual office that does that. |
OP, your real problem is communication, isn’t it? He can’t have a rational discussion without flying off into crazy. I’d want to address that first and then address the willingness to give into hoaxes and conspiracies second. When you get to that stage, remember the mantra that extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Jumping to “it must be aliens” when you can’t figure something out is intellectually lazy. Aliens are the least likely explanation for just about anything but people seem really motivated to believe it despite the absence of clear evidence. (And before people start citing Congressional hearings: that’s the appeal to authority fallacy. Weak evidence? Appeal to ignorance fallacy. Lots of people believe this? Bandwagon fallacy. Billions of planets? Misuse of statistics.). If we’re going to go anecdotal, how about this: why is it that in the past few decades when almost everyone in the planet has acquired a high res video camera in their pocket has it somehow become less likely to report UFO sightings? |
Stop calling anything you don't like autistic. |
Fallacy fallacy. If you dismiss everything that isn't direct disclosure from God on high as "fallacy", then all you can say is no one knows anything about anything. |
That's the military's job. UAP means blips on radar, not little green men from Mars. |

Does he need a good hobby?
Seems like he's frustrated with his life and looking for a grand villain to blame for his midlife crisis |
| I vote for the brain tumor theory |
