According to there IWLCA Jean Counts is the recruiting director for stars.

Kj certainly does not care about the stars HS girls. But I do not think those girls get recruited. The bottom half of capital orange also doesn’t really get recruited right??

Getting recruited is such a family specific question. Any player can get recruited. The question is to what school.

Another ignorant comment from an obviously bitter Capital hater. When all is said and done, your so called “bottom half” of the Capital Orange roster will do what it’s consistently done for years: commit to some of the best schools in the country. You have no idea what you’re talking about.

The reality is there aren’t enough quality players in the DMV to create multiple teams that could get girls recruited. The top half of Capital Blue give or take will go to decent lacrosse schools. Beyond that it’s a crap shoot. Anyone can play for a D2 or lower tier D3 school if that’s the goal. It’s competitive out there.

Agreed. Many will go on to play at high academic D3 schools while others will choose to play club at great schools. Big mistake to think that the uncommitted girls are not receiving offers.

The uncommitted girls all have offers, I assume, but rumor has it that most are waiting on high academic D3 NESCACs and to see how some high D1s shake out with decommits.

I would take the Capital recruiting machine all day.

You have to play a minimum of 6 games to be listed in the rankings and many of the tops teams did not enter many fall tournaments as they were fully recruited and some teams have started combining A and B teams where they can to help kids get recruited or to fill roster spots. You need to look at the 2023-2024 list to get accurate rankings at this point for the 2026 class. Capital orange has some excellent players but they do not play top tier teams.

Well they play M&D Red and Skywalkers White and PP had said that Maryland B teams were better than Orange. I would imagine it changes from year to year but making a statement that one is better than the other consistently is wrong.
