And enough people, despite their best intentions, simply will not be able to fill out that bubble to vote for her.

Oh yes, the candidate that has served in all levels of government is the unqualified one—vs the convicted felon that doesn’t even know which state he’s in half the time and whose own advisors have confirmed he has no idea or interest in what he’s talking about when it comes to policy. Save your faux concern.

This is probably why people are anxious. She’s been very successful at moving up the ranks in the party to pad her cv, but what exactly has she done? She’s proven that she’s not even capable of managing a small staff.

Are you sure?
Because Trump is sheer madness at this point. To wit, the article on his ‘patented’ weave technique. Read it, it is no longer comical.

I'm not going to let Trump hang like a cloud over another 4 years of my life. If the worst happens, and Americans actually elect that clown again, I'm planning to disconnect from all the news, keep my head down, and just try to be oblivious. Hopefully, out here in my little suburb, the effects won't be too noticeable if I don't see any news.

This. And this post should really be moved to the health forum because it is more about anxiety. I have a teen member of the family who had a hard time getting out of bed yesterday because of the anxiety of the thought about the grim future of the country if Harris wins. It’s mental health. Yes, it’s my kid with anxiety issues.

OP, it’s okay to eat your kids Halloween candy every year.

LOL.

Agree. The hysteria is totally unfounded and just propaganda to scare people into voting for one candidate or the other.

It is funny that a term conned its mother into thinking it has anxiety. Just another term excuse when they don’t want to do something as simple as getting out of bed. No wonder the world laughs ate the dependence of the US on drugs to function.

Term autocorrected from teen

My level has come way down. It is clear now that the polling has been way off, with the admission that the underlying assumptions were manufactured to account for the "hidden Trump voters" without factoring in *waves arms* everything else.

I think she wins easily but then the anxiety will rise with the "after" - and the good news there are the laws passed a couple of years ago to tighten up the certification and EC process and the fact that Biden is in the seat Trump was in 4 years ago and Harris is in the seat Pence was in 4 years ago. I mean, she can win if she does the right thing...right?

LOL, she's an experienced prosecutor, senator, and VP with a law degree. But sure, vote for the convicted felon and reality TV star instead.

Huh? You want to try again?

Doesn’t matter. We have solid checks and balances in place. The President cannot destroy the country.

I'm not anxious but ready for it to be over.

Don’t kid yourself. You’ll be back on DCUM in a couple days.

My anxiety has been better in the past couple days - I think just because its almost over. And there have been a few signs that point to a positive outcome (from my perspective).

Same. Hopefully she’s right lol

you do realize that if trump loses Iowa he will still win according to all the polls?

I am hoping that the amount of intelligent people voting out number the deplorables. I am no longer watching the news or political coverage because I just can't take anymore and it seems like it's all BS Trump propaganda at this point.
