Anxiety level going uppppp..

OP, I think that anxiety you feel is probably this buried gut feeling that many of us have - that somehow the Democrats have put up the single most unqualified person they possibly could have in this election. And enough people, despite their best intentions, simply will not be able to fill out that bubble to vote for her.

I think a Trump victory would be an existential threat to the country.

In what way

Partly because Trump is breaking down and the undecided prob going for Kamala as well as more people hate him than dislike her. I will not be voting for either but I pretty much guarantee that she'll win it. There's simply no way people will let Trump win again. No matter how many supporters he has, and u know he has a lot, he antagonizes people way too easily and it's 2024 not 2016 when people wanted to take a chance. He's had one and people will give Kamala one this time around. I don't think she'll do very well but I know he won't get another chance. It's just not how this country works.

You do know that not voting in this close of an election is itself a vote and if Trump wins you will need to be able to live with that outcome….

Just cast a vote for Kamala. Not voting is a vote for Trump.

The Iowa poll combined the Secret Service suddenly increasing the security perimeter at the residence of the Vice President this weekend is a pretty good two-factor indication that Harris is up big-time and is the expected winner. The government wouldn’t be adding security if they weren’t certain she was going to win.

No, you are looking at chess moves as if it were a game of checkers. More likely scenario is that Trump wins, Biden steps down for health reasons, elevating Harris to the Presidency. That is why security precautions are ramping up.

OP, please don’t buy into the fear mongering rhetoric. Our country will be fine no matter who wins.

Just a tip. Get your direction and oversight of your medical care for your family from a person that actually attended medical school instead of RFK Jr.

Trumps campaign disavowed that

Oh yes, the candidate that has served in all levels of government is the unqualified one—vs the convicted felon that doesn’t even know which state he’s in half the time and whose own advisors have confirmed he has no idea or interest in what he’s talking about when it comes to policy. Save your faux concern.

This. And this post should really be moved to the health forum because it is more about anxiety. I have a teen member of the family who had a hard time getting out of bed yesterday because of the anxiety of the thought about the grim future of the country if Harris wins. It’s mental health. Yes, it’s my kid with anxiety issues.

OP, it’s okay to eat your kids Halloween candy every year.

Show me where TRUMP reversed this because the words came out of his own mouth.

I have no concerns about Harris. My concern is about the fact that millions of brainwashed Americans are still cultishly following a guy who is senile and incoherent, whose campaign is propped up by deranged billionaires like Musk and Thiel.

I know transgender people that are convinced that Trump and the Republicans will try to stop them from getting hormones and surgery and that talking about trans kids is just the first easy foot in the door. Some even think they're going to have to use the bathroom that aligns with their gender at birth instead of what they transitioned to if Trump wins. I'm sure nothing will be different for them if Harris wins or Trump wins.

A president is not a king or queen. You life should not revolve around it. There are MANY things in life that are more important.

Just to point out that a president has more important roles than a Queen or king whose responsibilities are fairly limited

+1

This is so true. There are so many truly awful things in life, and truly wonderful things. The election is neither.

Why don’t you have faith in Harris to seal the deal?
