Op here. They do not speak to one another and haven't in years. He hasn't shared with his own family so I know for certain he wouldn't share with her. We didn't spend any time at SGF.

Just ignore her. Do not let her live rent free in your head. That's what she wants. Especially if your relationship started before hers ended.
