LOL. ECNL. Thanks for the laugh. |
For a female player, its our MLS Next. |
If you’re already @ U15 and on Arlington RL, you’re cooked. Only way DC gets a spot on the top team is if someone from the outside (who was invited to join ahead of said child) decides to go elsewhere. RL is purgatory. A place where a kid’s football dream goes to die. Arlington is more than happy to give you a little dash of hope to extract another $3K out of your pocket. You’ve been warned. |
That’s the Arlington way!!! |
True. My bad. |
On the "Boys side" there a lot of subs, 19 players max would be ideal, not 22+! going to games with 7 subs does not seem work, just check the standings. |
Arlington U15G ECNL is any other club’s RL team at best. Try any other age group and let’s talk. |
| Yep. It's truly wild but it is how it is. Girls will choose to play on a poor ECNL team for exposure rather than play on a solid team in a lesser league. Just how things are. |
| You mean playing in EDP? Around here there are no super teams so there can't be any leagues better than others. MLSN for boys sure thats a sound argument, but for girls, there is no lesser leagues just alternatives and if you live in VA many many many options |
Put any RL team into the same schedule that Arlington’s ECNL team plays and let’s see what those results would like. They may not be the strongest but that’s a ridiculous statement. |
|
That team sits mid table with a winning record. They have a pretty good defense and played a tight game against top-ranked Union in WAGS. Their RL team is also one of the best in the area, finishing first last season and second this season. |
So is that the same with EDP? |
You must be thinking of a different age group. U15G did not play Union at WAGS. Arlington didnt make it to the final. |
Yep, you’re right, I stand corrected. I was thinking of Arlington playing Ukies, who Brave beat in the final. |
