OP here. How big are the rosters for U14 & U15? DD plays for a large club on the ECNL-RL team and it's impossible to crack into our club's ECNL team. She is considering trying out for FVU in the spring but if DD doesn't make that team, wondering if any RL teams get priority or looks from FVU for guest players or eventual promotion to FVU.[/quote]

If you’re already @ U15 and on Arlington RL, you’re cooked. Only way DC gets a spot on the top team is if someone from the outside (who was invited to join ahead of said child) decides to go elsewhere.

RL is purgatory.  A place where a kid’s football dream goes to die.  Arlington is more than happy to give you a little dash of hope to extract another $3K out of your pocket.  You’ve been warned.  [/quote]
