Well, your choice isn't a unicorn candidate that you conjure from your imagination. It's between someone you think is sup-optimal, and someone aligned with the worst elements of US society/discourse.

Zimmerman was not my first choice, but she's the only choice I have left. Sometimes that how politics works.

My friend worked with Brenda Diaz at GHS. She was an absolute nightmare who terrorized her colleagues and was put on leave for her unprofessionalism. No way should she be considered for BOE. Be careful with your vote

There was something circulating on Facebook about how she was persistently extremely late, often missing her first class even though she lived five minutes from school.

The BOE has 8 members: 5 district members, 2 at-large, plus the SMOB.

She's required to step down but lots of the BOE members have other full time jobs. Not sure how that works.
