Husband wants males friends but isn’t into sports

Male friends are people you have worked hard together with.

No. PP is right this is mommy behavior. , so I guess in that way you are right many marriages fail because one partner act like a child and the other grows tired of parenting them

Sports isn’t the issue. My husband isn’t really into sports but he has plenty of friends. Many of them we have met through school or other community things. Yes, he can talk sports enough to be manly haha but he can talk about almost any subject. He is a voracious reader of history such as the Civil War and WW2 and his friends really enjoy talking about it but they will never do a book club.
