+1 Have them reprogram ParentVue/MyMCPS and the rest of that unintegrated multisystem boondoggle while they're at it.

My school takes awhile to process checks. I sent the check on Monday and it still (Friday) has not been added to the account. So checks aren’t really a substitute option for the online system.

Yes, I put money in my kids account by credit card because I wanted them to have lunch money quickly. But it made me mad to get 2 fees of $2.50 on $25 deposits for each kid. I tried to figure out how to do one transfer for both kids and pay only one fee, but couldn't figure it out.

My kid just started kindergarten and I can't believe how many apps we have to download that I'm sure tax dollars were used to pay for. The MySchoolBucks fees are absurd. It all seems incredibly shady to me.

So many apps! If parents realized how much of our education dollars is going to for-profit apps - like the bathroom monitor app, the wheresthe bus app (that doesn't work properly), the prodigy app (design your penguin before you learn math!) - there would be a revolution. Meanwhile, kids are stuck watching ads for 3 minutes every time a teacher shows a YouTube video because apparently there is no YouTube for schools ...

Sorry, this is a dumb question but do the school cafeteria still take cash? Couldn’t you write a check for a large amount but send in cash lunch money for a couple days?

I got a refund of the balance when my oldest graduated. Emailed DFNSHelpDesk@mcpsmd.org and provided student's name, birthdate, and student ID number.
