What states are most likely to flip D?

Anonymous
The IRA had nothing to do with inflation.

It was a green energy bill named in anyway to sell it to the public. It raises inflation by every assessment of this bill.

Structure your voting system so it's very easy for wealthier, whiter, older citizens and harder for poorer, darker, younger citizens. Provide fewer voting machines per capita in urban areas, for example.

I flew down to Selma, AL back in 2016 to drive voters to the polls for the Doug Jones election. It was such an eye opening experience in terms of the hurdles voters in some R states are subjected to. I’m in awe of the marginalized who do continue to vote, despite being turned away for illegitimate reasons again and again (eg, elderly voter who has lived at the same home for decades being told at the place she’s voted at numerous times that she must vote at a new place 15 miles away, then being told at that place that her polling station is really 15 miles in a different direction). It’s absolutely criminal and made me far more sympathetic to R states who have almost impossible odds to overcome R rule.

Gaws that's awful. Can't believe this type of sh*t still goes on in 2024. Rs can only win if they cheat.

My two young voters would vote R if Trump were not the nominee.

Not all young voters are brainwashed by the extreme liberal leftist cult.

I taught my kids to be individuals with their own political and social construct beliefs...even if I myself don't necessarily agree 100% with them.

Well, you all decided that Trump is the R nominee.

No. Not "all".

Oh sorry, are we doing #notallrepublicans now?

Have you joined Republicans for Harris, I hope? Are you part of the Bulwark community? What are you doing to rid your party of that toxic pustule so you can return to having legitimate policy disagreements to the party that is actually trying to make sure we still have a country at the end of this?

Yes, we are. It's simple...I didn't vote for Trump in the primaries.

No...because I don't jump on bandwagons period.

Never heard of the term Bulwark...had to look up its meaning.

While technically a registered R, that’s mainly because of my mostly conservative values and beliefs. However, I have never nor will I ever vote straight R or D. I vote based on whose political and social construct beliefs I align with the most at any given time...which changes as society changes, of which not all changes are necessarily for the better.

I reserve the right to change my mind on any issues and believe it's inherently wrong to judge anyone on things they said or did decades ago.

But you’ll vote for Trump even though he changes his mind from the start of a conversation to the end of it, and sometimes mid-sentence. Nothing weird about that.

First, I don't know why you think I'd vote for Trump. I voted for Biden last time.

Second, Harris is changing her mind don't just as much lol.

If I vote at all it will likely be Harris...but honestly I don't think I could stomach 8 yrs of her either.

I am extremely disappointed in our options 😞. Ashamed really.

Lol, BoThSiDeS. You’d gone quiet for a few days but you’re back on the BS.

Go read the thread about voting rights started two years ago by some right winger who didn’t think we needed voting rights protection. After fifty pages of being shown to be wrong as hell, he admitted, “wow I haven’t read the thread, too long, so outtie.”

Indeed, Republicans can only win by cheating, which is why they’re throwing registered Democratic voters off the rolls willy nilly.

Easy peasy. Have a sh!tty economy with inflation consistently outpacing wages. High interest rates. An impenetrable housing market for first time buyers. High apartment rents that prevent savings for big down payments.

Harris/Biden has given us all that. Frankly, young people are beyond stupid IF they DO vote for her. She helped create the misery they're in now.

NP — your black and white thinking is how we arrived at this terrible time in America. Harris will win but not because people will not be happy if she does nothing to shore up the asylum and immigration processes, and nothing to the immediate deportation of non-citizens who commit serious or repeated crimes, among other issues.

People may generally like her and vote for her, but they will still seriously oppose her and that doesn’t include the people who don’t vote for her.

If all you “she flip flops” people don’t see this s— as straight out of the R playbook, just like with John Kerry. Such a bunch of sheep.

Additionally, trump is the KING of flip flopping. Literally has done it his e tire life. Was a D before he was an R. For abortion before he was against , but not for it again. Kind of, sort of.

GMAFB.

Exactly!!! BOTH SIDES flip flop. All politicians do this to gain votes.

Inflation hasn't gone down - the rate of inflation has gone down. Big difference.

The IRA had nothing to do with reducing inflation. The drop in global oil prices, the Fed aggressively raising rates, and unsnarling of Covid-19 supply chains were the primary drivers in reducing the inflation rate.

So you’ll vote any which way even if it gives MAGA and/or Republicans a majority.

No. Inflation has gone down. If you’re trying to say prices haven’t gone down, then true.

But if that happened, we’d be experiencing deflation. Which would be bad.

I live in NC. At this point, I see us electing a Dem for governor but going for Trump. NC is fickle.
