I believe PAC has one last tryout this coming weekend. |
JFD or QOSA |
Good suggestion... another under the radar option is Lifetime (Gaithersburg). They have a USAS/PVS team. I have no idea supply/demand situation, but worth a look to find a spot. |
If you are Asian you should look into swimming for the Dragons |
Not meaning this to be confrontational, but does this team really only allow Asians to join, or are you suggesting the OP would not want to join if not Asian? |
DP, but non Asians can join but I’d be cautious about the male coach. I’ve seen him viciously scream at swimmers after they’ve swum their events. To the point officials were alerted. |
For every 99 Asian kids they have 1 white kid. |
I was going to say that the club was 95% Asian, but 99% might be more accurate. |
Not a "fold", still around: https://www.jfdolphins.com/page/home |
Not really. No meets and he lost almost all his coaches to QOSA. |
You are using your own personal definition of "fold" that nobody else uses - "fold" implies that they don't exist at all, which isn't the case here. Although no meets would be a deal-breaker for many, there is a whole cohort of kids/families that actually seek this out. So, not a fold. |
Folded as a USA SWIMMING club team. They now exist as a stroke clinic. |
Newp. Not sure why you'd insist on tripling-down on being wrong, but you do you, boo. Still clearly affiliated with Potomac Valley Swimming and USA Swimming: ![]() https://www.jfdolphins.com/page/home |
ASA does not have space |
Both of these suggested commutes would be insane |
