Why weren’t these fortysomething women already married if they were such catches?

Yeah exactly. I do not know many gorgeous women in their late 30s and 40s who want to marry a divorced man with kids in his 50s…

They probably have baggage- kids and exes and looking for $

I am mid 40s, divorced 4 years and will never remarry. I have my own money. No interest in an older man. When I do date, it is 10-15 years younger. This is pretty common with attractive 40s divorced women.

What do you offer a man under 35 who has no kids but want kids? Or perhaps you mean you re just dating to f**k now. In that case I agree with you because I'll admit as a 48 years old man I won't be able to compete with my former self who is 35.

Read her text carefully she said it's common with attractive 40s divorced women..then I guess the non attractive 40s divorced women then will have to go for the old men haha. She just insulted other women her age without probably even realizing it.

I am in the process of divorce in my early 40s. 1 kid in elementary school.

I definitely don't plan on dating for several years. I'm going to go to therapy, work on my sh*t and stabilize life for me and my kid. I'm going to figure out who I am living as an adult on my own for the first time in 20 years.

Eventually, if I choose to date, I plan to mostly date women. I think men are ruled by their testosterone and their entitlement. That might be sour grapes from being cheated on but that's why I'm committed to staying single and working on myself before I subject the dating pool to me and my baggage.

If I never meet anyone, that's okay too. I make plenty of money and have great friends and family.

It all sounds like a mess. Make it work with your spouse and save yourself the headache.
