| A $25000 fine? She should refund the full salary for the entire time she broke the terms of her contract besides any fine. |
+1 But instead of fully prosecuting her for fraud they will restrict work from home and hybrid for other workers. |
| I live in Alexandria and many DC employees who are supposed to live in the city own homes here and double up on cheap rentals in DC so that they will have a DC address. |
But they didn't give her the "We will miss you" plaque.
|
|
that's why they say "need something done? ask the busiest person" LOL
Im curious what the fall out will be in FCC, we are all so prim and proper here |
Not to mention the inherent conflict of interest in working for Fannie Mae and DOB at the same time. |
| I'm curious how DC was tipped off. I bet Fannie Mae figured it out. |
Yep. |
Can't someone oust her from the FCC Council for being ethically challenged? |
Im sure everyone knows already, |
| Her work “load” with DC allowed it. |
| There has to be so many people doing the same, including in the federal government. |
Maybe. But why doesn't DC govt go after people who do this? They've got MD residents to pay back tuition for residency fraud--this is a more costly example of wage theft. Letting her just resign is crazy. |
I dont think so, not that dumb, maybe surfing internet but not claiming two full time w-2s, thats just too honestly brazen, i would never do it because obvious you get caught at some point. |
Just guessing: Maybe she was allowed to resign that that she would not reveal others who are also double-dipping. |
