It’s shocking to me how politically naive pols like Bush and Bowman are. Jews have historically been the primary allies of Black Americans and are major donors and philanthropists. Yet, those two were very public with that “River to the Sea” nonsense. If pols like Bush and Bowman are that clueless, they don’t deserve to be in Congress. Good riddance. and FWIW I’m not Jewish. |
Better food in China than Israel, and against all odds, at best a tie with the ghastly fare in Russia. But seriously - three countries with a sordid history, one of which (Israel) is the single largest contributor to world conflict despite its relatively tiny size. |
And, it has nothing to do with the fact that both Russia and China are adversaries and Israel is an ally to the US? Or that Israel is the lone democratic state amid terrorist nations and both China and Russia are run by totalitarian governments? |
Cori Bush lost because she is bad at her job. She's now ranting against AIPAC and how she is "radicalized" and is going to go after "their kingdom". That shows you where her focus is, and it's not Missouri. The people of her district just decided it was time to pick someone who puts them first. |
or at least puts AIPAC first.... |
So AIPAC buying a candidate to unseat her was because...... |
What specifically about aipac explains Cori bush getting fewer votes than her opponent? |
AIPAC doesn't "buy seats". The people of her district voted for themselves. |
I applaud the Democratic Party for moving away from the extreme. The Squad are extremists.
I just wish that the Republican Party would do the same with the Freedom Caucus, but it seems that the Republicans are embracing the extreme rather than denouncing it. It's the extremes that are tearing the country apart. Hopefully after Trump loses again, the Republican party will start to free themselves of his mesmerizing effect and start to ignore that wing. At least Arizona Republicans seem to be recovering. There is a coalition of non-MAGA Republicans that are working the current election to try and prevent these extremists from winning office. And it looks like Georgia may be waking up too. We need more of this, if we want to stop the gridlock. These extremists who refuse to work across the aisle are destroying our federal government. |
I agree with this. They were played by a long-running Palestinian campaign to co-opt Black progressives and take advantage of the noxious thread of anti-semitism running through Black culture. FAFO I guess. Next time think twice before getting involved in international politics without understanding what you are doing. |
You should ask AIPAC why they invested so much money in her opponent. Yes, it was an investment. The minute he steps out of line, they will buy another candidate to oppose him. |
Why would AIPAC back a hateful antisemite? Of course they are going to back whoever is not like that. It's just common sense. And then people vote however they want to. |
She wasn’t serving her constituents. That is why she was voted out. Stop with the antisemitism. |
I'm going to assume you are white because your comment reeks of ignorance and suggests that you don't actually know any black people. |
Are you new to this country (or planet earth)? AIPAC spent millions in campaign support to effectuate this outcome. That led to more votes for her opponent, who will gladly suck on the AIPAC garden hose spewing droplets of water, and then do AIPAC's bidding to secure a tidal wave of ROI to Israel in return. He will also support oversized legislative representation for Israel's interests, which include those of many Jewish Americans. |
