| Nah. I am a resection survivor and my body looks deformed except the legs, face and arms. I cover up. No one wants to see this mess! If I looked amazing I might. |
+1 |
Why would a partner encourage immature and insecure behavior? |
Same. |
Most people aren't grandmothers in their 40s, but apparently you come from a teen mom background. |
Educated women don't call other women trampy. |
How exactly would you stop her? |
|
You can dress attractively, to highlight your good features, without reveal6 the private parts of your anatomy to random weirdos.
Who wants creepy guys (abd there are plenty out there) eying you all over? Nowadays, half if them take photos or videos. No thank you. |
Why? Free peeks to every creep who walks by? On the metro, every guy out on parole? Some sleazy or mentally ill weirdo? I don’t need the admiring glances of strangers to feel good about myself. |
Same. We are wising up (and rejecting the pressure to be someone else’s entertainment). |
I always feel bad for boys whose mothers dress too trashy. And know those girls will be dressing the same way by 14 😟 |
I don’t dress in a way that draws sexual attention (from all oglers ), but your post sounds a bit like you own your wife. And you do not. |
| What does revealing mean in this context? |
+1 I wear a bikini top and board shirts to the pool, and loose/v-neck shirts and shorts, which are on the revealing side for my neighborhood (lots of people from more conservative religions) but I don’t think of them as super revealing (I’m very flat chested so no one’s getting a show from my shirts). My wife doesn’t care and I’ve only ever gotten catcalled/harassed when I was wearing long sleeved/high necked clothes, weirdly. |
| There’s plenty of time for housecoats, wear what makes you happy whether it be a lycra mini dress or a pair of overalls. |
