Just got the alert that the order is lifted.

DC Water: The precautionary boil water advisory has been LIFTED for ALL customers in DC and Arlington County. DC Water advises tap water can be used for all purposes after it was confirmed that drinking water provided by the Washington Aqueduct never deviated from U.S. EPA established water quality standards as had been anticipated.

For anybody who doesn't get the alerts, just went out, advisory was lifted. Water is safe to drink and use.

I didn't get anything but my phone was off.
Where should I sign up for notifications?

The alert pushed to all phones was at 11:30 PM. That went to everyone in the Arlington vicinity. It’s location based you don’t have to sign up – just like if there’s a tornado warning, Amber alert, flood, etc. But I would recommend signing up at https://www.arlingtonva.us/Government/Public-Safety/Arlington-Alert
For any other emergency alerts in the county.

Thank you!

I'm in DC. I just got the lifted advisory as a phone alert that sounds the alarm plus a text plus an email.

My phone was off at 9pm last night and I didn't get any of the above, not even the email, for the boil advisory.
