How is everyone doing dishes? With boiled water and bleach solution?

We are in Falls Church/McLean and get our water from Dalecarlia too. How come we don’t have an advisory either?

Happy July 4th from this nations capitol where it’s not safe to drink the water! Yay!

Do we think restaurants in DC will abide by the advisory?

I'm thinking my kids' camp will close tomorrow if it isn't lifted.

Today is not June. We needed this post a month ago.

Was a typo. July 3-4.

I'm wondering why I didn't get a phone alert this time. I got so many last time for the NW DC problem and I live in NE.

Anyone know what they will do differently at the nationals game today?

Obviously, you don’t live in DC or Arlington to know this is happening now, so why are you even commenting?

They probably shifted where the water is coming from. They can shift around in response to things like this. DC did for a time, then had to shift back to Dalecarlia due to supply issues.

+1. There should be a sanitize option.

Fairfax posted on their website that they did just that.

What time did texts go out?
I didn't get anything but my phone was off.
Where should I sign up for notifications?

The alert pushed to all phones was at 11:30 PM. That went to everyone in the Arlington vicinity. It’s location based you don’t have to sign up – just like if there’s a tornado warning, Amber alert, flood, etc. But I would recommend signing up at https://www.arlingtonva.us/Government/Public-Safety/Arlington-Alert
For any other emergency alerts in the county.
