He's voting Trump because Trump screwed over black farmers. Brilliant. :/

It's not about getting more black supporters. It's about giving his moderate white supporters enough doubt about Trump's bigotry that they stay with him.

Sure is curious how the Edison Research exit polling for Trump in 2020 had him gaining share versus how he did in 2016 in most if not all minority groups, and yet he still lost! Puzzling. Apparently if doesn’t matter how well he polls among African Americans, so we can disregard this thread.

Then why Biden campaign just spent $50 mil to trash Trump as a convicted felon? Would it be better to spend those money on black farmers if polls are so irrelevant?

“CNN's Harry Enten takes a look at polls showing black voters under 50 defecting from the Democratic Party.

"Look at Black voters under the age of 50. Holy cow, folks," he said. "Joe Biden was up by 80 points among this group back at this point in 2020. Look at where that margin has careened down towards. It's just -- get this -- 37 points. That lead has dropped by more than half."

"I've just never seen anything like this. I'm, like, speechless... We are looking at a historic moment right now where Black voters under the age of 50, who have historically been such a big part of the Democratic coalition, are leaving it in droves."

According to the D playbook, right about now is the time to pull out the stops on some fake race issue designed to keep people angry and distracted. I wonder what it’ll be this time.

As a black mom, my struggle with my adult sons is not whether they will vote for Trump, it's whether they will vote. They don't like Biden's Israel policies and some other things. They also hate Trump. That's where the polls are wrong. My fear is that young people just won't vote at all.

If they swapped out Biden for someone else could your sons be persuaded to vote for the replacement? Guessing Kamala is not exactly an inspiring figure who could move the needle.

why would anyone see strength in DJT? He's all bluster. And horrifically out of shape.

Maybe because he is fabulously wealthy, has his name up on a bunch of buildings and golf courses, is married to a former supermodel, is a former TV star and, you know, president? And has taken incredible abuse for years from all angles and still is on course to win another election.

I think the way to look at this is, the polling writ large has been off since before 2016, so it is best to ignore all of them.

He isn't wealthy - is over leveraged and has been since the 1980's.
His name is on buildings because that is his business - licensing a brand, his name. For the most part, he isn't building anything.
Melania is not a former super model, not even close.
Is is a reality show host where the editing made him look smart and cunning, when in fact it covered up is incompetance and racism.

You want to talk about abuse, just ask Hillary about the 30 years of "baking cookies" Whitewater, Vince Foster, Benghazi, emailz and so much more.

You sound disgruntled— and white — and racist. Affirmative action has benefited white women more than it has POC.
Affirmative action also doesn’t work the way you seem to think it does. Why are you highlighting “middle eastern candidates”? Troll.

If Trump or anyone else think 30% of Black males and 14% of Black females are voting for Trump, I have a river in the Mohave desert to sell them. Nobody is paying attention to washed up, drug addled, financial broke 1990's athletes.

Now with that said, while I am not concerned about Black people voting for Trump, I do wonder about the Black turnout, or lack thereof. With all the misinformation, I do worry about the depressed turnout from young Black voters, both male and female.

+1

I am not black, but have sons about the same age and from what I hear, the issue isn’t whether they and their friends will vote for Trump, it’s whether they vote at all. They have serious issues with Biden, and voting for Trump is out of the question. Their friend group is pretty diverse but that seems to be a consistent position.

I think a lot of young men just won’t vote at all, as they don’t perceive a benefit.
