It’s still not remotely categorized as a full-size SUV, which is what OP is asking about. Those are Tahoe, Yukon, Suburban, Expedition, Navigator, etc.

I would look at the new Q80 over the Lexus lx.

The autograph trim is only 110k and it is bigger than lx with more ground clearance.

I'd get a 2020 or older Sequoia! They will last forever! Or get the Lexus version. Gas is cheap in comparison to repairs on newer SUVs

There is no Lexus version of the sequoia.

Toyota ruined that car with the hybrid redesign. They were nice, spacious tanks.

Agreed.

The older Sequoia was based on the original Generation 1 Tundra platform, and it was probably the best half-ton-class chassis that has ever been built. Both 4.7 and 5.7 DOHC V8’s are almost bulletproof engines. Not quite as durable or as simple as the GM small block pushrod V8, but still a very, very good engine.

Actually you’re the dumbass here.

The Tahoe and Suburban might share similar/identical engines, transmissions and suspension components, but the Suburban has a ~20 inch longer wheelbase. That longer wheelbase alone makes for a noticeably smoother ride. Anyone who understands anything (and that’s not you) about vehicle design knows that greater wheelbase equates to better ride quality.


You should focus on trying to not sound like a nasty know-it-all.

Have you looked at used Sequoias the latest model year before they made the changes you don’t like? We have kept our Sequoia longer than any vehicle we’ve had before. The turning radius is better than most cars and we can travel with our family, our 80lb dog, and luggage and still be comfortable.

I kind of ignored the newer versions (mine was 2004) and never really payed attention to the next generations.
I mean, my sequoia had a tape deck in it so I doubt the new generations could match that.

I may go back and look at them now that I am getting frustrated and hate the hybrid design/cabin space. It does look cool from exterior though.

I am so annoyed Toyota killed that car with latest version.
