| Why not just rent on your long trips. If you only need the vehicle 3x a year it cannot possibly be worth paying $100k for a monster sized car. |
| Get the new Grand Highlander. Is bigger than the Sequioa and 3rd row actually seats adults. |
Yeah, it is pretty large. but about 115K |
| People who drive SUVs are terrorists. |
ok, woke mentality. |
| You don't want to hear this but what you really need is a pre-hybrid model Toyota Sienna. |
|
Another vote for Suburban. A Tahoe is essentially the same vehicle, just not as long. It handles really well, and has given us zero problems in 5 years / almost 100K miles.
We have several friends who drive Yukons who also like them. I test drove one, and the Suburban won out on smoothness of ride. |
| This is exactly why I keep driving fully loaded minivans. Just as much space and so much nicer to drive. Better looking too. |

We have a Volvo xc90 for family trips.
We have two kids and have captain seats, so it’s spacious, but I’m pregnant with #3 and we’ll have to use a roof rack when we need to use the back row while traveling. If you have two kids or three kids + bench setup, it’s a nice car. |
| I'd go Q7 with roof rack if it's only a few road trips per year. The rest of the time, you'll enjoy the better handling and fuel economy compared to a Suburban. |

I agree with this except about the better looking part. Maybe a blacked out Pacifica with dope rims would be the exception. The Odyssey looks like crap. The new Sienna looks like a bus. |
They are definitely still better looking than Expedition or Suburban. Those are hideous. I agree that some of the midsize ones are better looking, like Audi or Acura, but those really aren’t big enough. |
This is the way. |
I think you can get the 450 for about $90k plus tax. |
