The older Sequoia was based on the original Generation 1 Tundra platform, and it was probably the best half-ton-class chassis that has ever been built. Both 4.7 and 5.7 DOHC V8’s are almost bulletproof engines. Not quite as durable or as simple as the GM small block pushrod V8, but still a very, very good engine. [/quote]
