Why rock climbing? It actually makes a lot of sense as an olympic sport, especially since it's not a judged/artistic event.

You know how break dancing got its start correct?

Thugs trying to steal hubcaps off of moving vehicles.

I mean, I’d rather watch breakdancing than dressage. It’s at least the human doing the athletic event.

Nah, beach volleyball is 100% just there for male viewers. No other sport has that much hugging

Olympic marching band and color guard on deck!

I'd watch that!

This didn’t age well. Ratings are way up & my college aged kid is obsessed with the Olympics and getting up at 5 am to watch volleyball (a sport, as far as I know, he had never watched before last week). He has also become quite conversant re: fencing.

It will be interesting to see the ratings for today’s basketball game.

Dying laughing. Russia?
We literally have a rogue terrorist state staging a genocide bombing schools and hospitals, the disgusting terrorist state of Israel, and they haven’t been sanctioned at all. If anything they got more security. Disgusting and heinous travesty!!!

Also, it's part of the "Everybody can be a winner" and "Everyone is equal" philosophy.
