Pop Culture events are making the Olympics a joke

Just because something is a sport, doesn't mean you have to watch it or care about it. The Olympics is a multi-day, multi-event extravaganza. Watch what you want, don't watch what doesn't interest you.

Some of the Olympic breakdance contenders are going to be judges at a JMU hosted breakdance invitational this semester. For those of you hating on breakdancing in the Olympics, you can also hate on colleges for supporting it

I'd be happy if they get rid of skateboarding, snowboarding, break dancing, rock climbing, beach volleyball. Leave in archery, shooting, equestrian events. The only way I have of protesting is to not watch events and not purchase what sponsors are selling.

I feel like breakdancing is kind of ridiculous, but then again if someone asked me to explain why artistic gymnastics is okay but breakdancing isn’t, my answer would rapidly be reduced to “uhhh” and then a shrug emoji.
